Oshas Defensive Driving
Oshas Level 2 Award in Defensive Driver Development is the ideal way to ensure that your drivers receive a qualification in defensive driving and undergo ongoing professional development. This one-day defensive driving course qualification will focus on driver behavior as the main contributor to the majority of traffic incidents, and it will promote both the understanding of defensive driving principles and safe decision-making.

In 2019, there were 1.11 traffic fatalities for every 100 million miles of vehicles were driven, 11.0 for every 100,000 people, 12.06 for every 100,000 registered vehicles, and 15.78 for every 100,000 licensed drivers. OSHAS Defensive Driving (Train the Trainer) certification is designed for individuals who wish to become certified trainers in defensive driving techniques. This program equips participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to teach defensive driving courses effectively. The training focuses on advanced driving techniques, safety measures, and instructional methods to ensure that trainers can deliver high-quality defensive driving education to others.
Eligibility Criteria
To enroll in the ProQual Level 3following eligibility criteria:
Experience
Experience in occupational health and safety is beneficial, candidates with no previous experience are also welcome to apply.
Language
Proficiency in English language (written and spoken) is recommended to ensure comprehension of course content
